I was driving down Keystone, on my way to work (late as usual), when a pug ran in front of my car. Luckily because there were speed bumps on the street I was not driving very fast. Nevertheless I cringed when I slammed on the brake, and immediately began to check my surroundings for a screaming bystander, or for the pug to be running towards the sidewalk. However, there was no sign of movement. Just as I was unbuckling my seatbelt, trying not to cry, the pug appeared at the front of my car. Relieved I sank back in my seat and remembered that I was late to work. I looked through my windshield and the pug was still there staring at the front of my car. I honked to get the pug to move out of the middle of the street and the dog went berzerk. It started barking at my car and acted like it was going to attack. By this point I was so annoyed I just inched my car forward and leaned on my horn and the dog went crazier and wouldn't move. I started to turn my steering wheel to the left, hoping I could drive around the stubborn mutt and it instantly moved toward the same direction to block my car. I turned to the right and the pug moved back the opposite direction to block me again! I was so frustrated I was literally 5 feet away from the stop sign, and work was just at the end of the next block. Thoughts of running the dog over were starting to be appealing. I began to view it as just another speed bump. Finally unable to sacrifice anymore time, I threw my car in park, unbuckled my seatbelt, threw the door open and when running at the pug screaming "GET AWAY FROM MY CAR YOU STUPID MUTT YOU'RE BUGGING ME!!" Immediately the dog ran to the sidewalk and into a yard. Satisfied, I calmly walked back to my car and was able to drive to work without any other interferences.
I win.
